3. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

If one thing is clear, is that Rise of the Tomb Raider was controversial last year due to it being a Xbox One exclusive, meaning that PS4 owners would have to wait a full year to get their hands on the latest Tomb Raider game. But thankfully owners of the world’s most popular console will be able to play Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider game this fall, as a special edition of Lara’s latest adventure will hit the PS4 this October.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of the best-reviewed games on Xbox One last year, due to its great story and great third-person combat and stealth action in the game’s Siberia setting. And given that this year marked the 20th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise, a demo video of the “20 Year Celebration” edition of the game was shown at this year’s Gamescom event in Cologne, showcasing this upcoming PS4 edition of the game, which will include the Blood Ties DLC and a new multiplayer co-op mode, meaning this Tomb Raider game could again turn out to be one of the biggest games of the year when it hits the shelves this fall.
