3. LEGO Worlds
While TT Games’ LEGO games are famous for recreating scenes from major motion pictures like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Jurassic World, letting players enjoy a LEGO parody of blockbuster films, the upcoming LEGO Worlds looks like it could be a very different game altogether.
For starters, and like many other games these days, this will be an open-world video game, and one which will also focus on building gameplay. Actually, LEGO Worlds is clearly inspired by Microsoft’s smash hit Minecraft, although hopefully TT Games’ upcoming release will have its own unique flavour, as it lets players build almost everything on randomly-generated worlds using those cute LEGO bricks, and also commandeer an array of vehicles from planes to digging machines. So this could end up being one of the best LEGO games to date, then, although we’ll know for certain when LEGO Worlds hits the shelves later this month.
Release date: February 24. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
