There’s no doubt that Journey caused a sensation back in 2012, with some outlets like IGN even naming it Game of the Year. In this game players control a hooded figure through beautiful and awe-inspiring landscapes like deserts and other locations like underground caves, with the goal of reaching a distant mountain on the horizon.

Some saw Journey as more of an experience than a video game, and the game has been criticized due to its short length (it can be completed in an evening). But the truth is that few other games have managed to engage players at an emotional level as Journey does, due to its evocative visuals and its phenomenal music score, one of the best yet in gaming. Plus this PS4 version of the game is certainly one step up from the original PS3 version thanks to the fact that it runs smoother and has upgraded visuals, making it one of the must-play games on the PS4 right now.
