4. Resident Evil 7
Although some Resident Evil purists complained when Capcom announced that Resident Evil 7 would be switching to a first-person perspective instead of presenting the action in the traditional third-person perspective, it’s clear that this latest Resident Evil game is one of the best in the series to date.
This is not only due to its superb setting (an abandoned Louisiana mansion) and creepy atmosphere, but this also has some of the scariest enemies seen to date in the Resident Evil series. Actually, fighting the sinister Baker family here led to plenty of hair raising situations, plus the devious puzzles and great survival horror gameplay ensure this is an experience most Resident Evil fans will surely enjoy.
