The Tekken franchise has been going strong since the first game launched back in 1994, and certainly Tekken 7 was one of the best reviewed games in the franchise to this date.

And like other fighting franchises such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, Tekken has found success by adding crossover characters to its roster. For instance, those who purchased the season pass for Bandai Namco’s game were able to play as Final Fantasy icon Noctis in the game, and also as Geese Howard, a character those into the Fatal Fury series probably know well.

Also, Japanese publisher Bandai Namco has decided to continue the trend with the game’s season pass 2, adding another crossover character to the mix. This character is none other than Negan from The Walking Dead, who’ll be bringing Lucille (his barbed wire-coated baseball bat) and his street fighting style to Tekken 7, as was reported on GameSpot.

The game’s season 2 content will likely also delight long-time Tekken fans, as Anna Williams (sister of series’ stalwart Nina Williams) and Lei Wulong will also be coming to Tekken 7.

This announcement was made by game director Katsuhiro Harada after the conclusion of fighting tournament Evo 2018, meaning one of 2017’s best fighting games is likely to become an even better experience for those who decide to get hold of this new season’s content, which will be releasing soon on PS4, Xbox One and PC according to Bandai Namco.
