4. Vampyr

This video game by the creators of the acclaimed Life is Strange episodic adventure game is set in early 20^th century London. The protagonist is a doctor who is afflicted with vampirism, looking to find a cure for his disease while feeding on the innocent and fending off those that (perhaps rightfully so) see him as a monster and want to take him out…

According to the game’s description, the game’s world will truly be dynamic, and for instance killing a character’s wife will result in him closing his business and leaving town, this having an effect on other characters in the game’s world. This could certainly lead to some very interesting choice and consequence gameplay, and if developer Dontnod’s earlier game Life is Strange is anything to go by, then it’s likely Vampyr will feature a great story and characters when it’s released in 2017.

Release date: TBA 2017. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
