2. Exclusives

If one thing is clear, is that we have seen some great games come out for both the Xbox One and PS4 over the years. And now that the Xbox One S and PS4 Slim are out, which machine is likely to have the better exclusives in the future?

Undoubtedly Sony’s PS4 has an enviable collection of upcoming exclusives including titles like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Detroit: Become Human and The Last of Us Part II. Of course, Sea of Thieves and Halo Wars 2 are also in the pipeline for the Xbox One, but we must bear in mind that these games will also be available on PC, which could be a blessing or a curse depending on whether you wish to own a machine with “true exclusives” or one that also offers the convenience of being able to play a PC version of its games too (games like Gears of War 4 include both the Xbox One and PC version for one price). In the end, though, Sony’s PS4 Slim does appear to be the more attractive machine when it comes to exclusive games than Microsoft’s console.
