Dr. Henry Wu (B.D. Wong) is Jurassic World’s chief geneticist, and there is no doubt that the position comes with a hefty paycheck. Then why on earth would the guy betray his employers and side with the movie’s villain Hoskins, who essentially wants to use the park’s dinosaurs as weapons of mass destruction?

It’s one thing jettisoning his career for money, but it is a far crazier thing to let dinos like Indominus Rex loose and cause mayhem in what is essentially a tourist attraction like Jurassic World. But then again, one can expect summer blockbuster characters to act in an absurd way, even scientists with PhDs like Wu…
