3. Days Gone

If one thing is clear, is that Days Gone is one of the most eagerly awaited PS4 exclusives. This has been the case since the game’s announcement several years ago, but sadly video game fans have had to wait much longer than anticipated for Bend Studio’s game. After several delays though, Sony has confirmed that the game will be shipping early next year, meaning there’s less to wait for those who want to get hold of this post-apocalyptic, open-world zombie game.

Days Gone stars Deacon St. John, a biker trying to survive in the Pacific Northwest, who will be up against freakers (the game’s version of zombies) and also against cunning human enemies as can be seen in the gameplay video below. It’s also interesting that players will be facing huge zombie hordes here (as seen in movies like World War Z) meaning this could turn out to be one of the most exciting PS4 exclusives to date when it launches early next year.

Release date: February 22, 2019. Available on PS4.
