2. Halo Infinite
It all began at the Xbox Games Showcase, an online event during which Microsoft showed gameplay for what is surely one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2020. Halo Infinite will be the new entry in the long-running sci-fi shooter series, and fans hoped it would be seeing a release in late 2020.
This was also what Microsoft wanted as Halo Infinite was meant to be the poster child for its new Xbox Series X console, but sadly for fans of the Master Chief, the game has now been postponed. This may have been due to the controversy which came as a result of the game’s showing at the Xbox Games Showcase in July – some people complained that the graphics on display were simply not up to par, not even as good as those as its predecessor Halo 5: Guardians. This led to Microsoft postponing the game into 2021, leaving some fans disappointed, and making Halo Infinite one of 2020’s most controversial games despite its delayed launch.
