8. Dishonored 2

Players will have supernatural powers at their disposal to deal with Dishonored 2’s enemies.

The original Dishonored game was one of the video game sensations of 2012, featuring great stealth gameplay and a superb story. And its upcoming sequel Dishonored 2 looks set to deliver more of what made the original game great, with the added novelty that players can choose to play as either supernatural assassin Corvo or female protagonist Emily Kaldwin, now turned into a lethal assassin after having been a damsel in distress in the previous game…

Also, the game looks like it will take full advantage of new-gen consoles to deliver some pretty great visuals, with old locales like the city of Dunwall and the new city of Karnaca featuring the same great art style as in the original game. It is clear then, that Dishonored 2 could be one of this year’s top video game hits, and might yet turn out to be one of the year’s best games too…
