2. Nioh

This upcoming game by Japanese outfit Koei Tecmo is set during the time of the samurai, with players taking control of blonde hero William in a quest that pits him against both samurai and fearsome demons known as Yokai.

Nioh is a third-person action game with a supernatural twist, and will likely appeal to those fond of melee combat in video games and also to fans of very hard video games, as the game’s makers have promised that Nioh will offer a serious challenge to players. And judging by the game’s PSX 2016 trailer, it looks like Nioh will not only offer great graphics and a beautiful medieval Japanese setting, but also some pretty intense third-person action when it hits the shelves early next year.
