4. Max Payne 3

Rockstar, the makers of the world-conquering GTA series, sure know how to market their high-profile video games. GTA V, after all, is one of the best-selling video games ever, having shifted an astounding 54 million copies to date. And while Max Payne 3 wasn’t as great a hit as many pundits expected, it was still a solid and entertaining action game, and a quite challenging one at that, ranking as one of the hardest games to date.

And the cinematic trailer below introduces dejected hero Max, the former cop who lost his wife and son in a previous instalment and who is now out of work and with a bad alcohol habit. But luckily for Max he finds a new line of work, body guarding in sunny Brazil, and the trailer shows the spectacular action and violent situations he’ll have to deal with in Rio, including a stunning speedboat chase.
