2. Heavy Rain

This 2010 adventure game by renowned developer Quantic Dream was surely one of the best games of the year due to its great story about a deranged serial killer with a love for origami and murdering people in the rain, and its phenomenal cast of characters. Actually, players take control of 4 characters throughout the game, including FBI agent Norman Jayden, who has the latest technology at hand to investigate crime scenes, troubled architect Ethan Mars, a witty detective named Scott Shelby, and journalist Madison Page (who’s played by sexy British model Jacqui Ainsley).

The game was remastered in 2016 for PS4, and while the dialog and voice acting haven’t aged so well, the game’s quick time action sequences are exciting and the game’s story is still thrilling, and experiencing it from the point of view of four different characters certainly makes Heavy Rain a great experience and surely one video game to get for those who never got to play the original PS3 version.
