This sequel to the 2019 video game hit Control surely is one of the hottest games coming in the second half of the year. What’s most interesting here is that while the action was limited to a building in the earlier Control game, here you’ll have to deal with “the Hiss” on the streets of Manhattan. This is because the supernatural, all-corrupting force has escaped the Federal Bureau of Control building and is now a threat to the city. Plus, there’s also “the Mold” to deal with here, another supernatural threat that takes the form of an “invasive micro-organism”.
Thankfully, though, protagonist Dylan Faden (who is the brother of Control’s protagonist Jesse) will have a transforming weapon to deal with his enemies. It won’t be a gun like in the first game, but rather a melee weapon which can take the form of a huge hammer, amongst others. Dylan will surely need it in the game’s dangerous, paranatural Manhattan, which is seen in the trailer below.
