8. Grand Theft Auto 6

Fans of the Grand Theft Auto games have been waiting more than a decade for GTA 6, and Rockstar’s sequel to the world-conquering GTA V will finally arrive this November. Set in the “sunniest place in America”, the fictional state of Leonida, this features locations like Leonida Keys, seen in the image above. There’s also Port Gellhorn, a shady place where several of the game’s missions might take place.

Of course, there’s Vice City – a sprawling, busy Metropolis which was the setting of Rockstar’s earlier GTA: Vice City game which was set in the 80’s. The modern-day version of Vice City in GTA 6 should look quite different, taking into account the game will boast cutting-edge graphics judging by the trailer below. Protagonist Jason and Lucia will get to deal with the likes of bank robber Raul Bautista and city legend Boobie Ike in the game’s story, which hopefully will be as compelling as that of the earlier games. This will be a single player-only experience at launch, but GTA 6 getting an online mode in the future is almost a certainty though.

Release date: November 19, 2026. Available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
