While most would consider The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt the best game of the Witcher trilogy, its predecessor The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was also an excellent game that offered plenty of superb quests, a great protagonist, and a dark medieval fantasy world with “shades of grey” morality.

And like the original Witcher game, The Witcher 2 was controversial due to the portrayal of sex in the game and the game’s presumed sexism. Actually, the North American version of the first game in the series was censored to exclude its infamous “sex cards” (which showed the protagonist’s female conquests in provocative poses), while the sequel Assassins of Kings was initially refused a rating in Australia due to one quest in the game in which sex is offered as a reward to players, which game creators CD Projekt Red had to modify to exclude said reward…
