There is no doubt that Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood was a worthy sequel to the great Assassin’s Creed II, even if it did not quite reach the heights of its great predecessor. In Brotherhood, protagonist Ezio Auditore continues his vendetta against the Borgias and their nefarious leader Cesare Borgia, while searching for the mystical object known as the Apple of Eden.

The city of Rome is beautifully recreated and features the great landmarks found in one of Europe’s greatest cities, including of course the Pantheon, which is one of the best-known buildings from the time of the old Roman Empire. In the game players got to climb the Pantheon and enter through the great Oculus at the top (although obviously visitors to the real-life Pantheon are not allowed to do this, of course…). The Pantheon’s dome is a sight to behold though, and there’s no doubt this is one of Italy’s mayor tourist attractions and landmarks.
