And like in all other Total War games by UK based studio Creative Assembly, not only did you have to worry about giving orders to your mighty legions on the strategic map, you also had to command your brave soldiers on the battlefield in the real-time tactical battles. And playing general on the battlefield meant more complicated choices: should you lead with your Hastati units (basic Roman infantry) or weaken the enemy first with your slingers? There are infinite possibilities here, more than enough to boggle the mind, for Total War: Rome II sure is a complicated strategy game.
