If one thing is clear, is that the Fallout series has a passionate following. As devoted fan spent years collecting bottle caps (which happen to be the standard currency in the series’ post-apocalyptic universe) and sent more than 2,000 to developer Bethesda, hoping to get a free copy of the game for his efforts. And it seems he’ll be getting his copy of Fallout 4 come the game’s release date on November 10 this year, as Bethesda was flattered by the man’s love of all things Fallout.

And gamers are also likely to be impressed when Fallout 4 debuts in November, as Bethesda’s role-playing game impressed at the E3 show, winning the “Best of Show” Game Critics award. The game will feature a fully voiced protagonist for the first time in the series, with a conversation wheel reminiscent of Bioware’s games, adding to the game’s mainstream appeal. Set in a post-apocalyptic Boston, players will have to contend with all sorts of brutal enemies, such as the raiders seen in the gameplay video below.

Release date: November 10, 2015. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
