5. Star Wars: Battlefront

Let’s hope the Force is strong in this one…

This upcoming Star Wars game is being developed by DICE, who are behind the renowned Battlefield series, and it will be released in late 2015, alongside the new Star Wars film directed by J.J. Abrams.

And if you’ve ever played the Battlefield series, then you know you can expect a similar game but set in the Star Wars universe, which is obviously great if you are a fan of George Lucas’ storied saga. Both the planet Hoth and Endor will be featured maps in the game, so you will be able to enjoy first-person shooting action while riding one of Star War’s iconic speeder bikes.

Star Wars: Battlefront was revealed by publisher Electronic Arts during the Star Wars Celebration that took place in April 2015. As many pundits expected, it will be primarily a multiplayer game (matches will support up to 40 players), and will offer no single player campaign. But it will certainly allow players to live out their Star Wars fantasies, as the impressive trailer below shows.

Release date: November 17, 2015. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
