This one was made during a time in which featuring real actors in video games was thought to be cool. So your civilization’s advisors were played by real actors. It was all a bit cheesy, but great. Watching an Elvis imitator (who happens to be your entertainment advisor) telling you how much your people love you sure was one of the gaming highlights of the 90’s.
Also noteworthy was the World War II scenario, perhaps the best in any Civilization game, ever. This was just a stepping stone between the original Civilization and the later Civilization III, though, but a pretty great game nonetheless.
