Top 10 Star Wars Video Games of All Time
4. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Rogue Squadron was a pure action 3D game that was widely considered one of the best games available for the old N64 console. It was based on the comic book series and novel of the same name, and follows the exploits of a group of hotshot pilots led by none other than Luke Skywalker himself. The game is set shortly after the events of the first movie, that is, just after the Rebels blowed up the Death Star and ruined Darth Vader’s plans.
This game featured planetary surface battles (although sadly no space battles) taking place on a variety of planets such as Luke’s desert homeworld Tattoine. A range of spaceships were available, from the versatile X-Wing to the powerful Y-Wing bomber and even speeder bikes like those seen in Return of the Jedi. The game had pretty stunning graphics for the time, and sure delighted Star Wars fans who like straightforward games featuring arcade-style action.
