The gaming world’s attention was focused on the Far East this September, as the Tokyo Game Show took place in Japan’s Makuhari Messe convention centre last weekend. It was a chance for video game fans to enjoy an advance preview of some of the most eagerly awaited games of the moment, such as Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human, which was one of the show’s highlights. So without further ado, here follows a list of the top 10 video games featured at TGS 2017.

1. Detroit: Become Human

Much has been made of Detroit: Become Human, an upcoming game by French developer Quantic Dream. This is an adventure game set in a future dystopian world in which androids begin developing human emotions for reasons unknown, some even becoming violent and rebelling against their masters.

And like earlier Quantic Dream games such as Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain, this will let you play as multiple characters, while the story can go in one direction or the other depending on your choices in the game.

Judging by the TGS trailer below, Detroit: Become Human looks likely to feature some of the best graphics yet seen on the PS4 too. Actually, the game’s settings and character models look gorgeous, meaning this could very well end up becoming another Quantic Dream hit when it ships sometime in the future.

Release date: TBA. Available on PS4.
