2. Tom Clancy’s The Division
This open-world game takes place in a post-apocalyptic New York city, after a deadly virus outbreak. Logically, chaos ensues, and people have barricaded themselves in their homes. A group of tactical agents known as The Division are attempting to set things right, while dealing with rival groups such as “the Cleaners”, who have a “scorched earth” policy – burning anything and everything infected with flamethrowers.
The game will offer third-person, team-based shooting action, and will also feature several high-tech gadgets such as flying drones. A novelty is that people playing on tablets will be able to offer tactical support, such as controlling the aforementioned drones. All in all, this online game is looking promising (see the trailer below), and will also offer a single-player mode for those who want to play the campaign solo.
Release date: March 8, 2016. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
