4. Quantum Break
Quantum Break is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2016, as this sci-fi action game combines third-person shooting action with a live action story featuring actors like Aidan Gillen of Game of Thrones fame, who plays the villain. And it is likely that this will be one entertaining game, as Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment proved with their earlier games like Max Payne and the horror shooter Alan Wake that they can deliver great third-person action gameplay.
Like in Max Payne, Quantum Break’s hero Jack Joyce will also be able to manipulate time, and a novel feature of Remedy’s game is that events in the live action story will be affected by player’s actions in the third-person action segments, which may give Quantum Break quite a bit of replay value. And although rumoured to be Xbox One only, it seems PC gamers will also have the opportunity of playing the game too, as a Brazilian classification board has apparently reviewed both the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.
Release date: April 5, 2016. Available on Xbox One and PC.
