6. Richard Crowe (Far Cry Instincts)

With Far Cry Instincts, Ubisoft did the seemingly impossible by bringing Far Cry to the original Xbox, as the PC version required a high-end machine to run. Mind you, this version lacked the stunning sandbox environments of the original game, even though playing as Jack Carver again and going after the evil Dr. Krieger and his henchmen was a blast all the same.

Far Cry Instincts also had another great villain in Richard Crowe, the commander of a mercenary army and the right hand of the evil Krieger. Of course, Crowe is fond of big guns too, but bites the dust in the end nonetheless. He does come close to killing hero Jack Carver on more than one occasion in the game though, and also holds his female partner Val hostage for a time.
