2. Michael Keaton

Actor Michael Keaton has starred in more than one blockbuster throughout his career. He was famously cast as Batman in Tim Burton’s 1989 smash hit, and despite fan protests due to his comedy background, he turned in a great performance as the caped crusader. He has also appeared in more critic-pleasing movies such as 2014’s Birdman, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.

So given his star power, it is not surprising that Disney cast him for a role in their blockbuster Need for Speed movie. The movie is based on the video game racing series of the same name, which is something of a worldwide phenomenon, having sold more than 100 million copies to date. And while the movie did not score with reviewers, it is still one of the top grossing video game movies to date. And Michael Keaton’s role as the conniving entrepreneur Monarch, who organizes the film’s climatic race certainly added to the movie’s appeal, with Keaton bringing his usual manic energy to the role.
