9. Mark Wahlberg

Ever since he quit the music industry, the former bad boy rapper has enjoyed success in Hollywood, starring in well-known movies such as the 90’s flick Boogie Nights, were the former Calvin Klein model plays a troubled adult movie actor.

Wahlberg has also starred in mega-blockbusters like Michael Bay’s Transformers, and also in 2008’s Max Payne movie, which was based on the video game of the same name. Wahlberg lists his role as detective Max Payne as his favourite movie role according to IMDB, although sadly the movie is certainly not amongst the best video game movies to date. But still, it fared well with audiences, and Wahlberg’s portrayal of troubled cop Max, who was out to avenge his family, was decent enough to please fans of the video game series.
