4. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

This game was a breath of fresh air when it arrived in 2019. This is because Star Wars fans had been waiting for a long time to play as a Jedi in a game, even if protagonist Cal Kestis is not the most charismatic character in the world. And neither are the crew members that travel with him on his spaceship the Stinger Mantis.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also borrows from other games like Dark Souls and has Metroidvania-style gameplay. But this third-person action and adventure game set in the Star Wars universe was a hit, selling millions of copies. And using Force powers and special lightsaber moves and taking on the Sith Inquisitors hunting protagonist Cal is a highlight here, no doubt.
