6. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

This game managed to live up to the first Jedi Knight game, and features both first-person shooter and third-person action gameplay to boot. Despite a slow first third, things really kick into high gear once you get hold of a lightsaber and get to use Force powers like grip. Playing as mercenary turned Jedi Kyle Katarn, you get to take on a dark Jedi faction known as the Reborn, and even get to train under Luke Skywalker at some point.
Made by Raven (the people behind the latest Call of Duty game), this action and adventure Star Wars game from 2002 also has some puzzles thrown in for good measure, and really does get the lightsaber combat right. What’s better, it’s fully playable on modern consoles thanks to backwards compatibility.
