5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords

This sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a darker, and more mature game than the original. Here too, you can also choose between the dark and light side of the Force, gaining different powers throughout the game depending on your character class and alignment.

Also, the game featuring “shades of gray” morality makes its story more nuanced than that of the first game. Plus complex characters like the mysterious Kreia, an old female Jedi who joins your party and advices you during the game, make this one hell of an RPG set in the Star Wars universe. Originally released on PC in 2004, it does feel a bit dated, although it was successfully ported to the Nintendo Switch in 2022.
