11. The Sinking City 2

Ukrainian developer Frogwares might be famous for their Sherlock Holmes games, but they also delivered a pretty good game with The Sinking City in 2019. Set in a city that’s slowly flooding, players took the role of Charles Reed, a detective working to unravel a mystery in a survival horror game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft.

The Sinking City 2 will feature a new story and protagonist, and is also set in another “sinking city”. Playing as a detective in the city of Arkham, you will have to unravel a new mystery in a Lovecraftian, 1920’s American setting. There will be frightening eldritch monsters to fight here too, so hopefully the combat will be better than in the original game when this lands on PC and new-gen consoles in 2025.
