11. Tropico 6

Fans of the Tropico games were upset when Kalypso Entertainment announced this game would be delayed until March. However, if Tropico 6 manages to deliver the same exciting blend of management and construction as its predecessor the wait will have surely been worth it.

A novelty in Tropico 6 is that you’re not in control of only one island when playing as the dictatorial “El Presidente”. Bridges can be built, linking several islands, giving you more real state to play with. Also, you can customize your character (making him male or female for instance) and also your Palace. Plus, the fact citizens behave in a more realistic manner this time (revolutions are a possibility here) means this could end up being the best Tropico game to date when it ships in a couple of weeks.

Release date: March 7, 2019. Available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and other platforms.
