Baldur’s Gate fans had been waiting more than 20 years to play this game, and Belgian outfit Larian Studios did not disappoint, delivering one of the best RPGs of all time. This is a game that raises the bar for RPGs, and can be both monstrous and sweet at times.

Talking to characters such as a female half-elf named Shadowheart (who can be your love interest in the game) can be a delightful experience, but you can also revive corpses and question them about their identity and motives – the game deals in the macabre at times too.

Baldur’s Gate 3 shines when it comes to choice and consequence gameplay too, and you get to decide whether to wipe out a goblin camp in the game’s first act, or side with a nefarious drow elf commander and take out a group of refugees hiding out in a grove… Other aspects of the game, such as the music and graphics are great, plus the difficult battles will test even the most hardened gamer, as this no doubt is an awesome RPG game.
